This sound art encompasses some of many recordings that took place in downtown Abu Dhabi. The harsh, and  broken sounds of the AC units crowding in the alleyways I investigate. Conversation with shop keepers and them speaking to me in Arabic and me replying in English. The screeching sounds of cutlery being carried to the washing area as I wait for my beef dumplings from MT 8848 restaurant owned by a Nepalese woman called Sonam. This recording gives the listener a glimpse of an on-going project of investigation and recording in downtown Abu Dhabi.
